Heather Dubendris, MSPH
Heather Dubendris is an epidemiologist with over 10 years’ experience working in applied public health. Heather is highly skilled in the areas of surveillance, analysis and reporting of public health data, outbreak response and public health communication. She provided expertise on several high priority public health responses including the ongoing surveillance and response to antimicrobial resistant pathogens, the COVID-19 pandemic, and other healthcare-associated infections.
At Lantana, Heather provides analytic and user support to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN). She analyzes and presents surveillance data, assists with module development, performs data quality outreach, and develops guidance for submitting facilities and partners to inform public health and quality improvement efforts.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education from the University of Maine-Farmington and a Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH)-Epidemiology from the University of South Carolina.
